Mike Garza, also known by his artist pseudo name, JangoMike, is first and foremost a proud Father, Iraq War Veteran, Professional Musician, Professional Photographer/Video Artist, and avid Outdoorsman. He resides in the quiet town of Wildomar California. He was a Sergeant in the US ARMY and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is now a 100% Disabled Combat Veteran. When he is not raising his beautiful children, he fills his time working often as a professional musician, gigging and doing seshion work for various musical acts around Southern California and Las Vegas. Mostly finding himself playing Bass, Mike plays exclusively on a one of a kind, handmade custom Carl Thompson Bass. Mike plays through Mesa amplifiers and uses customized Tsunami cables exclusively. He is also an accomplished Drummer/Percussionist and Guitar Player. Between parenting and music work, he also works as a professional photographer and in video production work. One of his pieces is soon to be forever enshrined in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He loves working on projects with fellow artist/musicians and his own quirky concepts as well. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently studying on his own time for a Master’s Degree with the end goal of obtaining a Doctorate in Psychology. When he does somehow find free time, he spends it Fishing, Hunting, Kayaking and Hiking and prides himself on his knowledge of Nature, Animals and the spiritual connection he shares with the Natural World.
