Tim McCaffrey is the primary singer/songwriter/drummer for the rock band, The Neighborhood Sound,
Growing up in San Jose, California, Tim started off as a drummer playing in multiple bands throughout the bay area. For a short stent in the late 90s Tim was a sessions drummer for the Young Studio located in the Inland Empire. After his first child was born, Tim moved to the Central Sierra near Yosemite to settle down and raise his family, but music always called. In 2011 Tim Joined the acoustic band The Little Fuller Band (as rhythm guitarist and primary singer/songwriter). Quickly the band caught fire and they found themselves traveling the world. When the band ultimately ended Tim, following the lead of one of his songwriting influences, moved from string-band to electric and started Three To Get (a unique yet familiar throw back sound to the rock and roll of the late 60s early 70s with a slight prog vibe).

Eventually Tim met Adam Dragland, an accomplished songwriter and guitarist (Dragland, Goldminor, Kat Robichaud, The First Church of the Sacred Silversexual) from San Francisco. Together along with Alec La Roche (bass) and Joey Garcia (guitar) they formed the band The Neighborhood Sound. Tim is still hired regularly to play with multiple bands (Willis & Watson, Cole Hinkle & the Debauchery, Nathan Ignacio etc.)

Tim met Keith through Skeez Nava (the bass player for Three To Get) and immediately knew he wanted to be a part of this family. Good people, an amazing FAMILY of endorsers and a top of the line product. Tim strictly uses ONLY Tsunami Cables knowing that the best sound you can get starts at the source and Tsunami Cables are “the best cables around. PERIOD!”
