Paul McBride
Paul McBride began his musical journey at age 15 in the late 1990’s. Quickly immersing himself in the southern Florida death metal scene. Paul cut his teeth and formed his calluses playing bass in local bands. As Paul’s musical journey progressed he began writing for Bass Musician Magazine. Conducting numerous interviews with highly influential and legendary bassists Steve DiGiorgio, Arran McSporran, and Chris Beaudette amongst countless others. Paul was a member of Los Angeles based band Before the Mourning, who released an album that was distributed through Century Media and received airplay on several major metal radio outlets. Before the Morning also supported Fear Factory on a US tour. In 2017 Paul began performing, collaborating, and studying under legendary metal drummer Derek Roddy until 2020. Performing on multiple albums, including the band Fire for Effect. The last album to feature acclaimed vocalist Bret Hoffman. Paul also had a song on the Billboard foundation Rock Charts reaching #28 with the act Sweet Blood. Currently Paul has joined forces with extreme metal veterans Voraath who feature former members of death metal titans Nile. Voraath has signed on with Extreme Management Group and released a music video for their track Amon the Judge which was featured by Decibel Magazine. Voraath had also recently hit the road on the CYBER SHRED TOUR 2022. Paul is also a member of the band Burned featuring members of Lo-Pan and As Sick As Us.
