I am a rock musician from Temecula CA. I started playing guitar at the age of 12 after hearing AC/DC, Guns N Roses, and Iron Maiden. This influenced me to start my own band. Through the next few years I played and was primarily influenced by Heavy Metal and in High School I started playing my first live shows. After playing in High School I knew I wanted to work in the music industry and I started to get into Audio Production.
College was the biggest eye opener for me musically, I expanded my musical tastes into Jazz, Blues, and Progressive Rock. In this period I also began improvising heavily, drawing influences from players like Jeff Beck, Stephen Stills, and Jimmy Page. As well as playing in my college Jazz Ensemble and discovering Joe Pass, and Wes Montgomery. During these years I played Rock and Jazz, Majoring in Music Performance/Audio Production. In 2017 I Co-founded my band Red Hook with a few long time friends and my younger brother. Having the songs and the drive to record an album I put what I have learned with Audio Production to the test, Recording/Producing most of the album at my small home studio in the later half of 2017. Through this time Red Hook played many shows in the Southern California area and released our album “Then and Now” in the Summer of 2018, receiving great feedback and radio play in the UK and the US.
In 2019 I moved to La Verne, CA to continue college while also playing live with Red Hook and more recently Temecula Funk Rock Band Groov Underground. Music for me is what I’m feeling in the moment. Improvisation is a big part of my playing and I try to add as much feeling into every performance as I can. Music is Love.
