A native of Kansas City, graduate of the Charlie Parker School for the performing arts, and a winner of a number of bass awards. "E" has youred the US, Europe and Asia, sharing the stage with artists and groups such as Brian Bromberg, Michael Manring, Michael Powers, Norm Stockton, Doug Johns, Jeff Scheetz, Brian Beller, The Scorpions, Tony MacAlpine, Paul Stanley, Philip Lomax, B.B. King, Brett Michaels, Miles Davis tribute group "Miles & Miles," Greg Howe, and Sir-Mix-Alot. He was one of the few bassists contacted by Vernon Reid to fill the open bass position for the band "Living Colour."

"E" has conducted bass clinics, seminars and dealer training sessions from coast to coast and abroad for companies such as Korg USA, Ashdown Amplification, Warwick Basses, Spector Basses and DR Strings. In 2014, "E" accepted the Product Specialist position for Ashdown Engineering and again in 2015 for Spector Basses. Most recently accepting the position of Artist Relations and Marketing for Bartolini Pickups and Electronics. He was one of the top and most sought after bassists for Warwicks 1998/2000 in store clinic series. While working with Madison Amplification he helped develop the E600 bass head, and while working with Art he helped design and develop both the "Phat Boy" and "BCC" bass effects processors.

Now based in Seattle, WA, "E" has put into motion the opening of "S.A.M.M." the Seattle Academy of Mobile Music.
